Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the socialontario.ca moderators.

1. Be kind
   Treat others with respect. Disagree without attacking.
2. No harassment
   No dogpiling, doxxing, stalking, or brigading. If someone asks you to stop engaging with them, stop.
3. No hate speech
   No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, casteism, or other forms of discrimination.
4. No illegal content
   Nothing illegal under Canadian law. This includes content sexualizing minors -- zero tolerance.
5. No misinformation
   Don't spread false information that could cause harm, including health misinformation and election disinformation.
6. Use content warnings
   For NSFW content, violence, spoilers, and potentially distressing topics. Unlabeled explicit content may be removed.
7. Use alt text
   Describe images for accessibility. Follow @PleaseCaptionBot for reminders.
8. No spam
   No excessive advertising, SEO accounts, unsolicited DMs promoting products/services, or aggressive self-promotion.
9. Bots must be labeled
   Check "This is a bot" in settings. Bots should post unlisted.
10. Business accounts are allowed
    But don't be spammy. Engage like a human.
11. No impersonation
    Parody accounts are fine if clearly labeled. Don't pretend to be someone you're not.
